This particular stone was a favorite of the most wise king. Eilat stone is a naturally grown mixture of 4 secondary copper minerals (Azurite, Chrysocolla, Malachite, and Turquoise) that grow naturally in the copper mines of Israel. Different cuts of Eilat stone vary in color and shade due to which minerals are more dominant than the others in each particular cut.
